It was a short week, but we had a lot of fun on our field trip. The weather was perfect especially since we spent a lot of our day outside. After exploring the Ecotarium, we had a chance to visit the ponding program. We got to take a walk to the pond at the Ecotarium and take a sample of the water. When we got back to the building we got to see what we "captured" under a high powered microscope. It was amazing to see the plankton and other teeny tiny creatures that were in the pond.
The kids also worked on their Thanksgiving Day poem visualizations. They were able to pick one of their favorite poems from a bunch of Thanksgiving poems. Then they drew a picture to go along with what they were picturing in their mind.
I hope that everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving break with family and friends!
